Our mission
A purposeful living
RE:NEW partners with churches to mobilize Christian youth and young adults in their pursuit of purposeful living by pursuing spiritual maturity, utilizing their God-given gifts, and bridging cultural and generational gaps.
40-day devotionals
40 days of devotional studies designed to strengthen your relationship with Christ.
Seeking God’s Impact
Time and time again, He chose to use that period of 40 days to make an impact on the people He created and loved.
The Good Life
Everyone wants to live a good life. However, do we all know what is good?
Trust Without Borders
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will keep your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Asking For What We Lack
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you… (James 1:5)
True Treasure
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. (Matt. 13:45-46)
Living By Faith
It is when we first take a step of faith in response to God that we may experience God firsthand.
Messy People
If we desire a deep relationship with God, and for this relationship with Him to overflow into our relationships with other people, it requires dying to self, confessing our sins, and letting others see what we want to desperately hide.
Blessed Through Our Circumstance
After so many nights of crying out to God and asking why all this happened to me, I finally found the answer.
How to Find God’s Calling
God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:9)
What’s My Purpose
Why was I experiencing all of these setbacks? Had I not been a good Christian? Was I praying incorrectly, or did I do something to anger God?
No Reserve
Gaze at the cross. How much did it cost Jesus to rescue you–to ransom and win you back?
Waiting Changes the Heart
Instant gratification can easily transfer into our spiritual lives. How often have you prayed and expected God to say “yes” immediately?
Characteristics of a Christian Life
“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” (Romans 12:12 ESV)
So You Want to Make a Difference…
We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. (Hebrews 6:11-12)
Happy Hour
Taste and see that the Lord is good. “How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Psalm 119:103)
Our Creator and Protector
When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O LORD, held me up. When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. (Psalm 94:18-19)
Trusting God Through Transitions
No matter how much we plan for our future, no matter what we’ve envisioned for our future, God’s plans are always best for us.
Laboring For the Lord
Throughout the Bible, hard work done in service to the Lord is portrayed as an important part of the Christian walk.
Relying on God
While Jesus sacrificed Himself on the cross to free you from the penalty of sin, He also gave you the power to live for Him.
The Fruits of Suffering
We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. (Romans 5:3-5)
What is God’s Will?
He is good, and He does have a purpose for you – He has chosen you for Himself, for salvation.
God Creates, Not Replicates
He is creative, and purposefully crafts each human differently.
Biblical Love
Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. (Ephesians 4:2)
Words of Renewal
Praise the sovereign Lord that He reveals Himself in His Word, that it is not by our own merit by which we are redeemed and comforted.
Freedom for the Future
My identity and my worth were not in the plans I made for myself, but in Jesus who had already given me worth through the gospel.
When You’re Never Good Enough
“Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing” (Jn. 15:5).
Constant in Prayer
Being filled with spiritual wisdom and understanding gives us the ability to respond to life’s circumstances with the fruits of the Spirit; bearing fruit for God’s kingdom means serving the Lord in both thought and deed.
The Journey
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Thought Police
As believers, we know that we are commanded to “take every thought captive to obey Christ” (2 Cor 10:5), but sometimes we take this to mean that Christians aren’t allowed to have any sinful thoughts at all! Ever.
Life on Mission
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other command greater than these” (Mark 12:30-31, HCSB).
Frustration of Forgiveness?
When things do not go as planned, the easiest and most intuitive response is anger, but that is not a response that pleases the Lord.
Our Story in Christ’s Story
Though people around us may try to find their identity in their own accomplishments or plans, we can know that our story only makes sense in the bigger story of who Jesus is.
His Majesty the King
For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. (Psalm 47:7)
Beginnings in Endings
Just like a rose in a rose garden, certain situations, circumstances, relationships—you name it—must be pruned, so that in due time, something healthier can grow back in its place.
Enjoy the Ride
God has a far better journey planned for you than you have for yourself.
Better is One Day in Your Courts
When our hearts are aligned with the Lord’s, we will love what He loves and hate what He hates.
Living a Life That’s Not Our Own
With Christ’s love as our motivation, we can look upward for our hope and victory over the disappointments of the here and now, saying confidently with Paul, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Phil. 4:13, ESV).
The 40-Day Covenant with the Lord
When we bring our needs to God, we should be persistent and never give up on asking.
