Who We Are

RE:NEW aims to challenge youth and young adults to renew their faith by equipping them with resources, showing them how to use their gifts, and encouraging them to live with purpose.

Mission

RE:NEW partners with churches to mobilize Christian youth and young adults to live purposefully by pursuing spiritual maturity, utilizing their God-given gifts, and bridging cultural and generational gaps. We challenge youth and young adults to renew their faith by equipping them with the resources to know more of Christ, providing a venue for them to use their gifts to the full extent of their kingdom purpose, and encouraging them to live their lives with purpose.

What does “RE:NEW” mean?

(ri-noo) v.

  • To make new
  • To replenish
  • To reestablish
  • To revive

The colon in our name symbolizes that we are responding to being made new. As a verb, being renewed takes active participation on our part, even as Christ works in us to enact transformation.

What do we do?

RE:NEW partners with churches by hosting events like praise nights, workshops, and seminars. These events provide training in the areas of relationships and responsibilities, as well as opportunities to worship God with others, and identifying one’s strengths and weaknesses.

In addition to these events, RE:NEW provides a variety of resources:

  • Campus Representatives Initiative (CRI) is a leadership development program created for high school students and college freshman to be mentored by an older volunteer mentor. This program not only aids in bridging the generational gap, but also allows the youth to see and experience the value of discipleship. (This was a past program that will be replaced with a Mentorship Curriculum book coming soon.)
  • The Forty-Day Impact Challenge is a 40-day personal commitment designed to challenge participants of all ages to dedicate themselves to seeking the Lord through prayer, worship, reading Scripture, and fasting. (For more information, click here.)
  • RE:NEW also produces different forms of publication, including our annual RE:NEW magazine and online blogs.

Presence is an organization that reaches out to family and youth, helping them to live in accordance with God’s values in their daily lives. We work to protect faith in families and seek to strengthen family relationships to equip them to serve others in their community. We want to encourage others to live God-centered lives. That’s why we’re called Presence, because it’s all about God’s presence in our everyday lives and in every aspect of life. We also seek to inform Christians about how current cultural issues affect our faith and to equip them to respond in truth and love.
