Dr. Agnes Ip, Founder & CEO
Dr. Agnes Ip is the Founder and President of Presence Quotient and a California licensed marriage and family therapist. She graduated from Alliance Bible Seminary and received her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University and Alliant International University (AIU). She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at AIU with an emphasis in multicultural community clinical psychology. In her earlier years, she was a church minister in Hong Kong and later served as a mental health therapist for government subsidized outpatient clinics. In recent years, Agnes has provided clinical guidance for marriage & family therapist trainees and interns from various universities.
Joanne serves as event coordinator for Presence as well as helps to oversee some of RE:NEW’s ministry. She helps to supervise and coordinate all the various ministries of the organization. Outside of work, she enjoys creating evangelical productions in musical and theatrical, reading, writing, going on mission trips, and teaching children Sunday school.
Christine Shen is a full-time staff at Presence. Among her many hats, Training Department Coordinator, Communications Assistant, and Possibilities Events Planner/Promoter are among her top responsibilities. She also co-teaches at a K-12 literacy development center on Saturdays and enjoys spending the remainder of her time building relationships with family, friends, and going on adventures, or simply curling up with a good book or movie. She currently serves on her church’s Hospitality Team and is leading a small group of young adult women to love the Lord and grow in godly character.
Wicy graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a B.A. in Communications where she concentrated more on photocommunications. She started out as a volunteer helping out with RE:NEW and is currently working on social media and assisting with photography, film, and ministry work here at Presence. She enjoys music and serves at her church as a worship leader. On her free time, she enjoys drawing, journaling, hanging out with her brother & friends, exploring, and loves to sleep.
Denise Ho currently does contract work for Presence and oversees all film production projects as RE:NEW’s Multimedia Specialist. She leads worship at her church and volunteers at a small afterschool program in Pomona during her free time.
Rev. Dr. Richard Chung, Advisor
Pastor Richard has been serving as a pastor since 1993, both in Los Angeles and in the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in economics. He received his Doctor of Ministry from Talbot School of Theology with a dissertation on helping people resist sexual temptations and pornography.
Katy Lee, Advisor
Katy Lee graduated from Talbot School of Theology with a Master Degree in Christian Education. Her passion is to help parents effectively raise their children in the Christian faith.
Elizabeth Hughes graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Master of Arts in Christian Ministries and Leadership (with a focus on Women’s Ministries) from Biola University. She recently moved to Sapporo, Japan where her husband teaches English and where she gets to play all day. Jokes aside, her job as RE:NEW Communications Editor allows her to do what she loves: write, help others write better, and meet interesting people along the way. Her hobbies include reading, exploring Sapporo, learning to cook and learning to rest.
Mary is currently majoring in accounting at Cal State Fullerton. Tea, Korean dramas, and the study of language (including English!) are a few of her great loves in life. She desires, and is excited, to use language to make a positive impact according to God’s will and for His glory.
Camille Kim crunches numbers and works with spreadsheets during the day. After hours, she makes things, plays with her dog, and gets overly attached to characters from video games and TV shows.
Christine Hwang graduated from UCLA with a BA in Art History. She loves art and wants to glorify God with the gifts that He’s given her. She is currently pursuing further education at a community college and hopes to build a career in either illustration or animation. Currently, her time is spent in Northern California, where she is building her art portfolio and developing her skills in animation.
Melanie Ho is currently a sophomore attending Diamond Bar High School. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, blogging, reading, and listening to Christian songs. You can always find her behind her camera lens capturing God’s beautiful Creation.
Phoebe is a sophomore Legal Studies and Sociology double major at Scripps College. In her free time, she enjoys playing any sport, photography, drawing, and making music. Her home church is at Mandarin Baptist Church of Los Angeles.
Shirley is a devoted Christian committed to living her life for God. She serves at church as a nursery helper, worship leader, and youth group leader. She believes she would not be anywhere in life without the mercy of God and thanks Jesus everyday for saving her. Shirley enjoys playing sports, listening to music, and going on adventures. She hopes to have a career helping people in the future.
Tammi is currently a student at Cal State University Long Beach and is looking forward to graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration. Afterwards she hopes that the world will treat her kindly and provide her with a job, so she won’t have to live under a bridge.
Joshua Gok works at a software company in Diamond Bar and is looking to see how he can use his software skills for God’s glory. In his spare time, he watches sports, plays video games, and serves at his church.
